Historical Museum

Through grass roots organization, the Historical Commission raised the necessary funds to save the original 1929 Police Booth from demolition during the I-696 expansion. Later, they were able to fund the restoration of the structure to it's current use as a history museum for our city. Located behind city hall, the museum houses a wealth of information about the homes in our city and the people who've lived in them.

The museum is open the third Saturday of each month, from 10a.m. to 12p.m. Items for purchase include Pewabic Tiles and Holiday Ornaments depicting a charming image of the museum. Also for sale is a book of Pleasant Ridge history; Pleasant Ridge Then and Now.
