  • ANNUAL PLEASANT RIDGE HOME AND GARDEN TOUR
  • The Pleasant Ridge Historical Commission invites all to come and explore the city’s unique homes and gardens on Saturday, June 12th, from 10am – 4pm for the Annual Pleasant Ridge Home and Garden Tour. Pleasant Ridge, established in 1919, is poised to become the first city in the country to receive city-wide Historic Designation. In 2008, Pleasant Ridge was named one of the eight best neighborhoods nationwide to buy an old house in This Old House Magazine (July/August 2008). The tour will feature a variety of architectural styles and unique gardens which reflect the diversity and character of the second smallest incorporated city in Michigan. Vintage cars will be on display in front of the homes. Tickets will be sold rain or shine for $20 the day of the tour from 10am – 2pm behind Pleasant Ridge City Hall at 23925 Woodward (just south of I-696). Advanced group (20 or more) sales will be available for $15 per person at the Pleasant Ridge City Hall. Pleasant Ridge Garden Club will provide lunches for purchase in Memorial Park. If you are interested in volunteering as a docent, or would like to showcase your home or garden, please contact Robert Campbell at (248) 901-0297.
